Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

First journal!

Aw, that's great! Such a lovely idea with this challenge^^ Last week I had first yellow, then orange and then red nails

I was supper lazy, so I started with the lightest shade and when I got bored, I painted another colour over that xD I've never did it, but one of my friends told me she's doing it, somethimes she's wearing about 10 coats and then remove it... But that seems to me like really a lot of coats O___O xD So a bit reverse with colours than here, but now I'm wearing green mani and I bought a new blue nailpolish, so I'm going for blue next^^ Such a coincidence! xD
I'm looking forward to see your ideas^^ Now I will go and spamm your notifications a bit with comments and faving, since I've finally managed to clean almost whole my devwatch folders, so only the most important left^^

xD Yay, I think it's a good think sometimes in a state of huge laziness, when you do it like two or three times, but 10 coats are too much, I believe it must even look horrible then, start chipping etc..
Omg

My nails aren't anything special, much more terrible comparing to all the amazing designs you and other people have. My mani is usually one colour all over my nails and that's it

And now I'm quite obsessed with colourful french, so I'm changing only the colour of my tips... That's it

Only simple things, some glitters from time to time, a bit of matt polish, cracking one... But nothing much, it's a shame comparing to you! O_O

I know, starts can be hard^^ Better than you, naaah

I've wanted to buy a nail art brush to try something, but everytime I end up buying some eyshadows or new polish instead

I guess I'll never get to that

And when I actually have some colour on my nails I'm like - okay, let's try something on it, but then I usually look at it, saying to myself "Aww, such a beautiful colour, I'll just leave it like that."

Or the polish is already dry and I have to do some houseworks, washing the dishes etc, and then I'm like "No, I have to do these things, so I won't paint my nails anymore..."
So... those are usually my poor attempts

And sometimes I add some glitters etc. like I said before, or some stamping... Nothing much^^

hahah i understand xD also because make the polish dry is the hardest part xD especially when you've got something else to do it seems like it never dries è.è
you know these days i missed plain colors xD so i'm just wearing simple one-color layers haha i'm totally upside down, now that i've got some free time i don't feel like doing hard things haha

God, so true! xD xD Once I bought fast drying spray, but it seemed to me like the whole drying process takes even much longer with that spray, so I stopped using it P__P
Well, I think it's quite obvious xD When I'm busy with school and other things, I would like to do anything rather than studying etc..

But when I finally have some free time, I don't feel like doing these things at all
