I saw this design on a wall of a chinese restaurant downtown and thought it was really beautiful! the original drawing was sooo delicate and I decided to paint it on my nails for this week's challenge. But maybe I used way too bold colors and it ended up being not that delicate :D

The lanterns were a bit hard because they were really small (aaaand my right hand is quite awful) but I managed doing them with my new nail art pen :la: I used it to write on the lanterns, too, where I draw some random ideograms that I copied from google images of lanterns, I don't think they make any sense but at least I hope it's nothing bad :D

I used:
-kiko n344
-essence n 99 "wanna say hello"
-poster paint

I really hope you'll like this!
much much love and zai jian! xD

I love it, delicate or not, the bold colours are so cheerful and the whole design is gorgeous!! Plus it has such a lovely feeling, reminds me of some warm summer evening, sitting outside, with friends, gorgeous smell of the grass and fire... awwww ^^
That sentence about chinese symbols made me laugh xD I'm sure it's not anything bad. And even if, it's on your nails only. It would be worse if it was some tattoo :icononionxdplz:

I know, I love them too^^ I will miss these days, especially now. Today it started to snow heavily in the mountains, 20cm of snow... and they say it will come in the towns during Friday or the weekend... So no more warm evenings :saddummy: But -11°C at night instead :D
Learning chinese - like seriously or just a joke connected with the nail design? xD I think chinese could be really useful in this world... But I like japanese more^^ I'd love to learn that language, but no time for it now :(

ooh I bet it's really cold >< looks like winter came round here too...last week we had something like 17°C it was a bit strange, but today it's more like 9°...hahah I'm sure it's not a big deal for you but we're starting to say "it's getting colder!" haha xD yes I tried learning chinese, really! :la: hahah I didn't get very far...like I was getting familiar with the pronouns, some verbs and some particles. but then I gave up...I tried to follow some lessons online from youtube or some sites but I had too many questions and needed to buy a book or something...who knows maybe for christmas haha xD it's not that hard as it seems! I mean the bad part is that lots of words may sound similar and the ideograms are millions but the construction of the phrase is quite bearable...unless I got it all wrong and didn't understand a thing hahahaha xD

xD Yay, I know that winters varies a lot in our countries xD Last week was getting colder here too. It was around -8 to -10°C :D But this week the temperatures are above 0 again and all the snow melted. I hate Christmas without snow :saddummy:
Aww, that's great you tried! I believe it must be so hard to self-learn such hard language! At least you know some basis  It sounds super cool!^^ And with the books... Here you can find mostly English, German or Russian course books. Some Spanish or Italian can be found too somewhere. And then travellers dictionary in other languages, but there are only words and some phrases. How am I supposed to learn the language from that?? It bothers me, really :saddummy:

nuu I'm sure it will start snowing again >< I've never seen a white christmas >< I'd love to but it's usually to early for the snow to start falling...we should wait until the end of january or february *-* can't wait for some snow! yes that's the same problem here...those books may be useful if you already know the language but you can't start studying it from the most common phrases! è.è hahha in facts a few years ago I tried to lean German in the same way and now I only know some random words and the articles haha that's quite sad xD the only solution would be taking some lessons...but there are no course for those languages round here >< you can find english, spanish and french teacher here, and that's it...but I would like to learn Polish too *-* love the sound of your words!

It was snowing today!!! :woohoo: But there's only a little snow left... But I'll be in mountains, so there will be a loooot of snow^^ :happybounce:
Oh, I forgot! You're from Italy, sure, that's quite a warm country^^ So you do have snow, but later? When I was little, I always thought there's no snow in countries like Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece... :D But at my Spanish classes our professor explained the situation in Spain, so I already know it snows also in some part of Spain, haha xD And in Italy, of course it must snow in some areas in Italy, when you have part of Alps there! I'm used to snow a lot, when I was a kid, we've always had white Christmas. Last two or three years, however, there's not so many snow, or even none for Christmas, but as you say, it comes later, in January usually... I guess it's the global warming O____O
Exactly! For begginers it's useless... I've had German for 8 years :D And now I don't know barely anything... I hope I'll practice the language a bit, so I'll refresh my knowledges^^ I love learning new languages! So I'd love to learn Japananese, make some progress in German and Spanish, I also love Italian, French (but I think French is so hard!) and Russian and I'm fascinated by nordic languages  I'd love to learn Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian... That's my dream  xD Well, Polish is a bit similar to Czech, because it's also a Slavic language. But they have quite specific pronounciation^^ I can understand some words of theirs, without knowing the language. Also Slovak language is soo similar to Czech, I understand everything and it's easy to speak. But Polish is a bit more different^^

oooh I'm sure you're going to have some awesome time in mountains with lots of snow *-* can you ski? I'm sure it's awesome! when you're coming over to nake something you're definitely going to teach em how to ski too *-* haha even though, well... as you said there lots of snow in the Alps, but I'm a few kilometers away from the beach so at least we could ski on some sand hahaha :) oh ehm...I'm sorry...this is such a gaffe >< I thought that Polish and Czech were very similar languages don't know how I came to this, sorry! >< anyway I really love to learn new languages too, if I only had some free time...and I completely agree nordic languages are really fascinating *-* but they are really really hard! I've been in Scandinavia a few years ago but didn't learn a word haha I also forgot how to say thank you! :)
