I've been watching cutepolish on YT some time ago and saw similar design, from that time it's on my "to-try-one-day" list 
And I just have to say how much I love the gradient effect you did. Those colours make such perfect combination, I fell in love with it. It literally looks like the city's on fire from all the big city's lights and there's the reddish aura above the town, slowly merging into the infinite galaxy..... 
I knoow, I love such sceneries and I also find out that I enjoy landscapes so much, definitely much more than ever before^^ I can't help it and feel quite sentimental about it, but when landscapes are so beautiful
